Eastern Bank proudly celebrates the legacy of the Dragon Boat.

 

The Eastern Bank Dragon Boat team is a community-focused group which has participated in the annual Boston Dragon Boat Festival since 2015. The team is led by the Asian American Professional Collective, the Bank’s AAPI employee resource group with a mission to promote cultural awareness, team building and volunteerism with fellow employees and externally in the communities we serve. The team is well represented by members from different divisions across Eastern Bank coming from Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

 

A sponsor of the Boston Dragon Boat Festival, Eastern Bank is committed to celebrating the sport of Dragon Boat Racing. Teams throughout the years have included more than 40 Eastern colleagues, family and friends annually, participating on such teams as Team Fondue, Eastern Bank Blue Dragons, Paddle for Good, and Swift Dragon for Good. In 2018, the Bank gifted the “Eastern Bank Dragon Boat” to the Boston Dragon Boat Festival.

 

The Eastern Bank Dragon Boat team has won numerous medals since inception, including the gold medal in Finance Division in 2022. When in between races, our team focuses on fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for all members while having fun. Join Us For Good at www.easternbank.com.
