Ohana New England (ONE) established in 2015, and is a competitive dragon boat club based in Boston/New England, featuring teams across U18, U24, Premier, and Senior categories.  Our crews are diverse, encompassing individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and fitness levels, welcoming paddlers of all experience levels.  We train hard on the water and foster camaraderie through activities off the water.  While there are plenty of #ONEshenanigans, we are fierce competitors once we hit the start line.  Whether we compete with more than half a boat of novice paddlers, high school students, or missing paddlers, ONE has consistently ranked among the top teams at festivals and races attended. Our success is driven by the dedication of every team member and their desire to carry each other to ensure that we move forward as ONE.

 

Our club’s mission is to develop leaders through mentorship while fostering teamwork and promoting an active lifestyle. Through self-organized and collaborative events, we aim to advance dragon boating, encourage cross-cultural understanding, and build strong connections within the communities we operate. 

 

Run by dedicated volunteers, ONE has established itself as a respected partner with corporate and public organizations. Our impactful events and programs reach thousands annually, reflecting our commitment to both the sport and the community.
